Intended to be a central location for non-partisan information on national, state and local elections in 2020.


National Voter Registration Day is a nonpartisan civic holiday celebrating our democracy.  Individuals and organizations work together to raise awareness of and enable voter registration.  On Tuesday, September 22nd the Main Library in Hendersonville will have voter registration forms available to pick up and staff will be able to answer questions about returning registration applications, deadlines and general election information.

Welcome to the Henderson County Public Library 2020 Election Guide. The purpose of this guide is to provide individuals with one easy-to-use resource to access up-to-date, accurate information on the 2020 Federal, North Carolina and Henderson County elections. This guide contains separate pages dedicated to the Federal, North Carolina and Henderson County Elections; as well as a Voting page with resources outlining where to register to vote, voting locations, and how to vote including early voting and through absentee ballots. The resources used on this page were selected using criteria from resources found in the box below. Anyone seeking guidance on how to determine the credibility of an internet election resource is encouraged to visit these sites. All of the resources on this page are free to the public.
